Traders Village Construction site: The Rift, Skyrim

Making my way back to the camp from the lumber mill the Tribune grudgingly came forward to meet me with work of our progress, "Ehem, uh l-Legitus sir, I uh, er the Manor is built... the men are um, are moving in the furnature you had purchased now..."

I gave him an irritated look, Daedra below this man could irritate without any effort, "Good. How about the rest?"

Oh uh the Guard Barracks are both done save for the Cell doors in the jail, thos need to be put in yet, The Smithy is nearly done we just have the back wall and the forge to install, the General Goods is about half way complete, the Manor guest house is done, they have the floor in in the book store, The Edgewater's basement and ground floor is finished, they are beginning to install the second floor in the morning, the Fur trader, groundskeeper, and secured storage buildings are all slated to be started in 2 days, and I have 3 battalions working on installing the Gates. Other than that the docks will be installed come spring, the stables where finished yesterday. Sir."

"Again good. How are the repairs on that windmill and the farm house up on the hill going?"

"Slowly but we are making good progress."

"And what about the mine?"

"Ah uh... the mine... well...."

Grabbing the rim of his breastplate I yank the Tribune up face to face, "You hesitated..."

"Well sir. Um... we had a collapse.."

Growling I shove him away, "Dead? Wounded?"

"Two and six sir. It seems the mine had a small stream that had been blocked up at some time in the past. With all the rumbling from the construction up here it seems that the stream has cleared its blockage and is once more flowing. This blockage clearing went and caused a small collapse, I have the engineers shoring up the walls and assessing the mine now to ensure its safety."

Nodding in adjitation I wave him off and wander over to the Kitchens to get some Hot Spiced Cider and went to go view the work which had been completed while I had been gone helping the crews at the lumber mill down the road outside of town only to have Skaela appear out of no where and demand some of my scattered attention.
